Ranbir Kapoor and director Sandeep Reddy Vanga joined forces for their first film, Animal, which has been a success at the box office. Even though they recently collaborated, Ranbir was familiar with the director’s work since his debut film, Arjun Reddy. After the release of the Telugu drama, Ranbir sent him a text, but Sandeep missed it because he had stopped checking text messages regularly, preferring to use WhatsApp for communication.
When asked if Sandeep and Ranbir had discussed the possibility of Ranbir being in the Hindi remake of Kabir Singh, Sandeep clarified that Ranbir had clearly stated that he wouldn’t do a remake, so Sandeep was aware of his stance.

Sandeep Reddy Vanga rejected the idea of casting Ranbir Kapoor
Animal, starring Ranbir Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, and Bobby Deol, has been performing exceptionally well at the box office, despite its controversial portrayal of violence and misogyny. The film has sparked both criticism and intrigue, contributing to its significant commercial success. Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the director of Animal, gained attention with his earlier films, Arjun Reddy and Kabir Singh, becoming one of the country’s prominent films.
Within a week of its release, Animal earned Rs 563.3 crore at the global box office.
