The political landscape in Bihar is once again buzzing with activity. Several media reports suggest that Nitish Kumar may part ways with the Mahagathbandhan and join forces with his former ally, the NDA.
Political Stir in Bihar All Eyes on Nitish Kumar
Since the announcement to confer Bharat Ratna on former Bihar Chief Minister Karpoori Thakur, both Nitish Kumar and Lalu Prasad Yadav have responded in different ways, triggering a flurry of developments in Bihar politics.
Adding fuel to the fire, Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav’s daughter, Rohini Acharya, tweeted three times on the matter. Despite deleting the tweets, the controversy surrounding them continues.
In the meantime, there are reports that a crucial meeting between Samrat Choudhary and Bihar BJP in-charge Vinod Tawde with Amit Shah might take place tonight.

It is said that apart from Sushil Modi, two former Deputy Chief Ministers of Bihar, Tarakishore Prasad and Renu Devi, will also be present at this meeting.
At the moment, all these events are unfolding in Delhi.
Political Stir in Bihar All Eyes on Nitish Kumar
Vijay Kumar Chaudhary, the JD(U) leader and Bihar Finance Minister, has expressed confidence in the current political situation, stating that everything is fine in the Bihar government.
RJD leader Shakti Singh Yadav echoed similar sentiments, emphasizing that the present government is working with full confidence and will continue to do so.
BJP leader and Member of Parliament Giriraj Singh commented that the doors are closed for Nitish Kumar, but according to sources in various media reports, there is speculation that Nitish Kumar might dissolve the assembly.
Meanwhile, on Thursday, Nitish Kumar called a Bihar Cabinet meeting, but the subsequent press briefing was canceled.
Following these events, speculations are rife with each development, raising questions about whether Nitish Kumar is resigning from the CM post.
On the other hand, Shiv Nandan Tiwari, a senior leader of JD(U) and a former ally of Nitish Kumar, expressed confidence that under Nitish Kumar’s leadership, the Mahagathbandhan will contest the elections in Bihar.
Tiwari stated, “It is believed that where two out of three Khemkhas of Bihar stay, there is a majority. It is clear from the strength of the three programs yesterday that under the leadership of Nitish Kumar, the Mahagathbandhan will catch the horse of Ashwamedha Yajna of the BJP in Bihar itself. In this way, the dream of Narendra Modi, who is against the Constitution, democracy, and social justice, to become Prime Minister again, will turn to dust. The role of Bihar’s Mahagathbandhan under the leadership of Nitish Kumar will be recorded in history.”
