Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to inaugurate three significant space infrastructure projects worth about 1,800 crore rupees during his visit to Kerala today. This visit underscores his commitment to reforming India’s space sector and realizing its full potential.
Arriving in Thiruvananthapuram for a day-long visit, PM Modi will visit the Vikram Sarabhai Space Center, VSSC, where he will inaugurate the following projects:
- PSLV Integration Facility: Located at the Satish Dhawan Space Centre, Sriharikota.
- New ‘Semi-cryogenics Integrated Engine and Stage Test Facility’: Located at ISRO Propulsion Complex, Mahendragiri.
- Trisonic Wind Tunnel: Located at VSSC, Thiruvananthapuram.
These projects are expected to significantly bolster India’s capabilities in space technology.

Later in the day, PM Modi will address a public event marking the conclusion of the ‘Padayatra’ organized by the BJP’s State unit in Thiruvananthapuram.
Visit to Tamil Nadu
Following his visit to Kerala, PM Modi will proceed to Tamil Nadu for a two-day visit, where he will inaugurate, dedicate, and lay the foundation stone for multiple infrastructure projects worth over 17,300 crore rupees. This visit highlights the government’s commitment to enhancing infrastructure and development in the region.
