Samsung Reveals Galaxy Ring Prototype at MWC 2024: Launch Date
Expected to be ready for commercial release by the end of this year or early next year, the Galaxy Ring might make its debut at the Galaxy S25 event or the Galaxy Fold 6 series launch. The exact timeline is yet to be confirmed.
Samsung Galaxy Ring Sizes and Colors:
Samsung plans to offer the Galaxy Ring in nine different sizes and three colors: silver, gold, and black. At the demonstration booth, sizes were marked as S, L, XL, and more. The Galaxy Ring is designed to function like a smartwatch, capable of monitoring health metrics. Despite its small size, it lacks a display for interaction, and its sensors are limited.
Samsung Galaxy Ring Price and Features:
The prototype, although off-limits for touching, appears to have a lightweight design without a bulky body. It’s remarkable how Samsung managed to pack so much technology into such a small device. The material used seems to be metal with a glossy finish, giving it an elegant look reminiscent of the Noise Luna Ring. However, since this is only a prototype, the final design may undergo some changes.

The Galaxy Ring is expected to feature heart rate monitoring, sleep tracking, and SpO2 monitoring. Official details will be revealed closer to the global launch. Given its cutting-edge technology and development status, the Galaxy Ring is likely to come with a hefty price tag. For context, the Noise Luna Ring is currently selling in India for Rs 19,999, indicating that the Galaxy Ring price in India could be even more expensive.
While smart rings from brands like boAt and Noise are already available in the Indian market for health tracking, Samsung’s entry into this space will surely bring a new perspective to wearable technology.
