Review: Maharana Pratap – A Biography

Maharana Pratap (1540-1597) is one of the great Hindu heroes of medieval India. His valour is still sung in a thousand songs throughout the land, especially his own region of Mewar (in Rajasthan). His life is associated with many legends and heroic tales. The present volume is a short sized (110 pages) historical biography on this famous King. It was initially written in the 1940’s, and was recently republished with a new preface by K. C. Yadav, to fill the need of a short and accurate biography of Maharana Pratap.

Would love to see something like this done on the Rani of Jhansi. I looked all over India for a book on her but could nor find a single one. I looked in the History books of India for information but all I got was a brief reference. Definitely the government (s) of India is undermining and dicriminating against Hindus (see attempts to control finances and property of mandirs and donations and protection of other religions). Sometimes I clearly see Godse’s point.

Well done admin for reminding us of this book. It is a breath of fresh air after the furore re. Special effects MBharat or should I say Maha-Islam (using An-Aryan – Moslem – actors to portray the Aryawarth’s 5th Veda).

Maybe the Horses-ass in Bombay could produce a film of this. Or Vijaynagar

Oh sorry no. They won’t because we have to be nice to the Moslems. I say Why? Their own Moslems in Arabia hate them. These people killed my ancestors. Which by the way was me. I am a Hindu I was there at the gates of Soamnath I live forever death just gives us a new gig.

Folks this site is taking over my life. I gotta go. I got bills to pay and an ex-wife.
