Fear of a failed Garba
In my second year at uni, a few friends and I restarted up the Hindu society, which had not operated for a year or two before us.
One of the first events we held was a ‘Charity Garba and Dandia night’. Being the first big event that any of us had ever organized we were nervous as to how it would go. The biggest fear on our minds is whether we would be able to draw a big enough crowd.

It is a proof from your experiance that the factual knowledge from BHAGWAD GITA is relevant and applicable to the current time. This is what the future generations should try to undersatnd and keep a hold of to guide your life at every stage.

Great Story Rajesh.. and the lesson learnt.. so many of the readers here must have had similar experiences.. organising events, workshops, seminars,, not sure how many woudl turn up, disappointed at small numbers even though the small number of people would value the experience.

One who performs his duty without attachment, surrendering the results unto the Supreme God, is not affected by sinful action, as the lotus leaf is untouched by water. (BhagvadGita 5.10)

Excellent article. I can relate this to programs and events i have planned myself. Never thought of how the Gita can help me overcome the problems. I guess if your doing it for the good, the outcome will always be positive. Good article guys. Keep up the good work!! Jai Hind.

Agree with all of the above. Plus: the Gita also tells us to understand the world and act efficiently in it - after teh supreme revelation Arjuna is taught about the workings of material nature. So plan well, act well, then surrender the results.
congrats. hariaum
