The ghost of Idi Amin haunts Uganda
In the first such incident since Idi Amin’s regime, Ugandan-Indians have been targeted by violent mobs in the Ugandan capital of Kampala. Three Indians are reported to have been killed, and countless Indian owned establishments, including a Hindu temple, were ransacked by roving mobs.

This is the stark reminder to all Indians- irrespective of religious adherence, what lies in store in foreign uncivilized lands such as Africa. Africa has a history of violence, blood-shed and corruption. Idi amin was just one of the many dictators to have assaulted foreigners (Indians and Europeans) in Africa.
The crime element is no ingrained in the Negroid DNA that in countries such as US,UK and Australia, most criminals are resident Africa/ Black people who will resort to any means - killing, plundering and raping to achieve their objective.
Such criminal acts by a 3rd world country such as Uganda should be condemned in the strongest language, given India`s rise today, there should be stronger reaction from the Indian government, including the use of destructibe force against these black barbarians to ensure safety of Indians, especially Hindus and their properties.

Listen mate I never heard such nonsense.How can you say its in their DNA ? You sound like the Klu Klux Klan. There’s no doubt alot of black people do have problems but its more down to losing their spiritual and historical links with Pagan traditions and then being forced to convert to other relgions which now has caused a total imbalance in their society.

For a person who has ‘black’/African friends, I’m pissed off at your comment to put it politely. I have a coursemate from Burundi who’s about the nicest, most polite and intelligent individual I’ve come across this year.
My three black flatmates at university are the best flatmates I’ve had during my time at university. They’re the only ones who haven’t nicked any of my food and have helped keep the kitchen tidy. Btw I’ve lived with Chinese, Indian, white and Greek flatmates in the past.
Even if Africa is ‘uncivilized’ as you put it, then its less to do with their DNA and more to the fact that they’ve suffered colonialism and slavery for the best part of the last millennium

Oh you might interested to learn that according to the UK census there are 3000 ‘black’ Hindus in the UK…so what would you say to them?

Wow.. what crap we get here about Negroid DNA..
Indian investors seem to get involved in controversial investments. Uganda is one of them, and the Indians need to use their power and leave.. the Mabira reserve is a precious one, and as a Hindu I empathise with the desire to keep the reserve.. however, as the Ugandan society disintegrates, there will no doubt be a call for scapegoats..

In post colonial Africa , corruption is rife. the corrupt upper echleons mostly black section get away as they are not the visibe ‘minority’.The corrupt whites (individuals / multinationals/governments) are non visible as they are always in the background pulling the strings of the powerful mostly non white puppets to exploit the continent.Colonialism has made people of colour slavish to the white West.
The rest of world does respect the US 7th fleet and and its accompanying assorted minnow European fleet, that is why one finds Americans and Europeans are less at risk from the ‘Natives’
So now the Indians and later the Chinese will always be made scapegoats for any any economic ills of the African continent.
D Patel is guilty if he had any intention of non sustainable exploitation of the Mabira forest.Maybe at a later date there will not be as much killing/violence when the forest is owned by a non Indian.

The least you could do, is the decent thing and at least withdraw your comment as a gross mis-jusjudgement, said in a moment of weak thoughtlessness!
Indians are, and have been historically, “business gypsies”. We tend to prosper in varying degrees of success where-ever we go, and those who went back to Uganda knew of, and chose to take the risk.
It is a shame that Indians are target of a weak Ugandan Government. Thye have lost at a stroke, the confidence of the Internal business community of which Indians are amongst the most powerful.
The most logical thing would be to get their money out and leave Uganda.

Indian businessmen means who? Gujjus,marwaris and sometimes Punjs. Now, these gujjus and Marwaris have infiltrated to almost all parts of India and they have not done this for showing
integration but for money ,money and money only. They are doing the same thing in Africa.
I support the Ugandans in their noble exercise of throwing these guys out who will give sugar to
ants in the morning but will kill their own brothers in the evening and say,for what? Again,money,money and money only. I say, if all they care for is money, all the Ugandans should care for, is their exit. Simple. THROW THEM OUT WITH FORCE.

Gautam and at least some of these guys are contributing money back in India that circulates. What do u contribute? OF course their there for money why else would they be there. The africans were given a chance to run the economy and they screwed it up. Look also at zimbabwe where also food production has gone down.
People need an incentive like money for business and doing things. Stop being a moron commie and an useless.

Squidgy man, I have read your insults to a fellow Hindu for voicing his concern about black people’s violent tendencies. But nowhere on your post did you condemn the racist murders, manslaughter and ethnic cleansing that was carried out by black people! Did you make your comments because you are poiltically correct or because you are biased towards blacks and at the expense of Hindus?

I agree with db8. There is a tendency to violence within the black community. There was a public report not long ago from the Police Commissioner who said that the largest number of convicted criminals are black male within a certain age group. There are many (many) other pulished statistics which point to this.
I am really surprised (and somewhat shocked) that there are so many comments from people who are verbally attacking Abhishek ( a pro Hindu) and such few of you are commenting on the actrocities carried out by black people toward Hindus

No. * Indians are: Seikhs, Hindus, Buddhists, Christian Indians and Jewish Indians - PERIOD! It is these people who make India a secular country. This is my opinion.
WE Indians are EVERYWHERE - yes! And yes, we all do it for money - ie. to earn a crust, and if you make it big, hey, well done! Indians in the UK, Europe and the USA are a huge success story.
I am a Southern African born Indian mysself and you know what? A lot of us packed our bags and took the next flight out of Africa. Not all of us were thrown out - we chose to leave and use our brains elsewhere, like the UK and the USA for eg.
What are your ambitions Gautam? Remain poor all your life, are are you already well to do? Hey, there are so many deservig causes in that case - give it away matey.

2. Perhaps you mis-interprete my thoughts when I said *Indians are “business gypsies” - written in inverted comas - This was said with some pride, and most certainly not meant as an insult. Indians will travel to where ever there is money to be made, set up home, and like all travellers, will up and move on if things get bad. We have the brains to succeed anywhere in the world, so why stay in a country where you could get killed? Not cowardice at all .. simply a common sence logical move .. by a travelling businessman confident that we will make it elsewhere!
Attacks on Indians in Africa (where I was born) is not generally borne out of racist hatred in my opinion, but hatred of Indians by Africans more out of ignorance, because they are unable to compete with us in business, and see us as an easy target to attack in the false belief that if the Indians were kicked out, they woud prosper. History shows this is not so! Look at Uganda, Tanzania, Zimbabwe, Zambia Malawi etc.
Rest assured, if political stability returns to these countries, the “Gipsy” Indian businessman will land there, and put it together! There is no shame in taking your money out and leaving is things get bad. I wonder what you would do if faced with those circumstances, as many of us have indeed done.
The “attack” on Abhishek is for the generalised comments about the Black people, and all we are saying is that is not the case with all black people.
