Peers block ‘Assisted Dying Bill’
Do you believe that extremely ill patients should be given help to end their lives if they choose? ‘Voluntary suicide’ (euthanasia) has been legalised in the Netherlands, Belgium and Oregon State of the USA, and is currently being debated in Britain.

Personally, I support the idea of a law that would allow terminally ill people in a lot of pain the option of assisted death. Having lived with a terminally ill person, I saw the last few months of that persons life as a nightmare of suffering for her, and she repeatedly asked the nurse if there was any way she could be freed from this continuous agony.
