If Hanuman dies…
At one point in the Ramayana, Indrajit (Ravana’s eldest son) launched a massive attack against a section of Rama’s army, causing massive slaughter. When Jambhavan (the commander) arrived at the scene to survey the damage, the first thing he said was, “Is Hanuman alive?”

Brilliantly articulated and very though proveking.
I think Hindus everywhere need to take up the artibutes conveyed in this artical and by the actions of Hanumanji to benefit Dharma (the most Hindu of artibutes). And to break away from the ego-centric, non-conformist and yet conformist persuits.

A good article indeed as it expounds upon the fact that Hanuman ji really never can die and He lives eternally with all of us even if we are distracted from His way of selfless devotion and desire free actions and service to Lord Ram.
Whenever we are distracted from His path He delivers us back to the righteous path of Truth as a saviour. And to those who are His true followers He always fulfils their wishes and comes to their rescue whenever they are in trouble both big and small and need His help.
In essence the article conveyed the very nature of mind which by its nature gets distracted and need a living God like Hanuman amongst us to lead it back to the path of Ram bahgwan.

Good article.
Just wanted to add that Hanuman is considered to be one of the eight Chiranjivins (also spelt Chiranjeevin in english).
The word is a combination of “chiram” (long) and jīvi (lived). The Chiranjivins are considered therefore to live until the end of the universe or until the Earth is destroyed.
The other Chiranjivins include:
1) Ashwatthama
2) Kripacharya
3) Mahabali
4) Markandeya
5) Parashurama
6) Vibhishana
7) Vyasa
On that note it has been claimed that Ashwatthama, the prince who murdered the Pandava’s sons in the Mahabharata and was consequently cursed by Krishna to roam the Earth in great sorrow for eternity, has been spotted in the forest of Gir, Junagadh in the Gujarat state of India.

Hanuman is a great idol, who represents all said in that article. I am happy to have read it, as it is a very good follow on after i have been watching the film of Luv Kush, Ram’s sons.
It was interesting how everyone left, except Hanuman. Hanuman stayed on earth to become the protectors of Ram and his brother’s sons. Hanuman is looked at in many ways, and is an incredible inspiration

When Lord Ram went to his abode everyone followed,Hanumanji said He wants to chant and hear name of lord Ram.In india where ever Ramayan or RamKatha (story of Ram)is performed, a seat is kept for Hanumanji assuming Hanumanji will be present.
